Crocheted drawstring bag

Chain 5, join with ss.
Chain 3 (equals a dc), 11 dc, ss to top of first dc
12 dc total
Round2:
Chain 3 (equals a dc)
dc in the same space
2dc into each stitch all the way around.
Join with ss to top of first dc
24 dc total
Round3:
Chain 3 (equals 1 dc)
dc in the same space
*1dc into next stitch. 2dc into the next stitch.*
repeat from * to * all the way around.
Join with ss to top of first dc
36 dc total
Round4:
Chain 3 (equals 1 dc)
dc in the same space
*1dc into next 2 stitches. 2dc into the next stitch.*
repeat from * to * all the way around.
Join with ss to top of first dc

The base of the bag is complete.
Round5:
Attach new colour by ss into any stitch or continue with the same colour

Repeat round 5 till you reach the desired height, changing colors at the beginning of round 5 so that the stripes are formed.
Drawstring:
Cut three colours of yarn of 4.5 yard length. Bring the six ends together and tie a knot close to the ends. Secure one end firmly. Twisting the strands until the threads are tightly twisted. Bring the two ends together and knot. Your twisted cord is ready. Smooth any kinks from cord. Weave cord through at the desired height.
